As all of you know I am all about the ol’ book learnin’.
The Borrowers was always one of my favourite stories growing up and as with most people that have seen anything Ghibli, I am a die hard Miyazaki fan.
So I was thrilled to discover that the latest Miyazaki masterpiece was none other than Kari-gurashi no Arietti or The Secret World Of Arrietty (which is the title that will be released with the American version that Disney has got their grubby hands all over).
I know it sounds like a total hipster wank thing to say but I prefer watching anything Miyazaki with the original voices and subtitles because it seems more genuine and besides, the incredible illustrations are so descriptive you almost don’t need the subtitles.
I strongly suggest that you get your hands on a copy!
Ok, so it was more like cocktails, canapes and sneakily sending photos of engagement rings to Todd *shakes fist*.
The Tiffany’s team kindly invited us to their Christmas night last year along with a couple of my fave bloggers to revel in the caroling festivities, enjoy a drink, eat some food and do some shopping.
This is me looking very awkward on the duck egg blue carpet as a photographer asked me to awkwardly foot model my similarly colored shoes.
Let me tell you now folks, I am definitely not cut out for the challenging and off-balance world of foot modeling.
I’m wearing my bestie Netta’s Zara blazer, Asos lace overlay dress, Shoes from a boutique in Melbourne, Gold Metal Cuff belt from Korea, YSL Arty Ring and Alexander Wang bag.
This was a little shoot I styled a while ago. Pastels are a big Spring 2012 trend and there are some magical pieces about for you to snap up.
The best thing about this shoot was the hair, if only I had blonde hair to test run some pastel dip dye…
The second best thing about this shoot is definitely An Ode To No One with incredible tailoring, fabrics, prints and colours that make all of Adi’s pieces so very easy to style!
Model: Hollie @ Priscillas
Hair: Hair by Koh

Stylist: Tash Williams
Last year, my partner in crime at work Pip and I organised a vintage photoshoot on a balmy spring day in Centennial Park, styling looks around the amazing that is Samantha Wills.
One of my fave bloggers Em from Spin Dizzy Fall also starred in the shoot and the incredible photos are taken by Nicole Cooper from Confident Liar.
You can peep all of the shots and where to buy everything at BWA
I got totally inspired when I saw Ralph Lauren’s campaign featuring some very real, murderous looking Australian crims of the 1920’s.
Boys, you can definitely take some style notes here- there is nothing sexier than a dapper gentleman.
I also love the gritty-ness of the photos that is almost impossible to recreate in any genuine way. In an age where “the gritty reboot” runs rampant in Hollywood, its good to see Ralph Lauren using real life inspiration- even if they are bloodthirsty criminals!
Everyone loves a bad boy.
Once again, here I am playing blog catch ups…
One of my new years resolutions is to get the passion back into writing.
My job means I am writing a huge amount of content every day and sometimes it sucks the fun out of what is one of the most enjoyable things in the world to me.
Stay tuned for a blog overhaul, a new header and some consistent writing (I hope!).
I want to take you all behind the scenes with me for those who care, and for those that don’t I am sure I will be retarded enough to keep you entertained.
Too keep you up to speed on what my face looks like, check the below- one of my favourite outfits to date for its Versace-esque prints and colours- thanking Fairground and Mother & Father PR
Most weekends, Todd and I make the drive out to Monika’s Doggie Rescue to walk and play with the puppies that have been given a second chance at life.
Many of the puppies come from puppy farms- and if you saw the state of the former mothers who are forced to churn out litter after litter, you would never shop at a pet store again. Their bellies are engorged from years of neglect and abuse, and now are sentenced to a life of diminished movement as their bellies hang down to touch the ground.
Some of the puppies come from the puppy mills, who have never left a cage before, so the experience of 100 other barking puppies and strangers coming in to pet and feed them is entirely overwhelming.
The heartwarming thing is that despite all the neglect and abuse, we have never encountered a bad soul among the many puppies we have walked. Some of them are scared, or a little weird but always sweet and wanting to play!!
I have decided from now on every time we walk a puppy I will put their info up here in the hopes someone will adopt them!
So this weeks puppy is PlutoPup, a super cute, full of beans puppy who just wants some love and attention! He is still a young pup so would be easily trained and is very friendly. He would definitely need someone who could walk him every day!
If you want to adopt PlutoPup head here!
For those of you that know me and Todd know that THE question has been a long time coming and is looming…or else….(shakes fist menacingly at Todd).
Here are a few of my inspirations for the dress that will mark one of the most important moments of my life.

If you don’t know what I am referring to, get yo ass to the couch and watch some Scrubs STAT.
Alternatively, get out of my life….
I have always wanted an eagle, to ride around on the back of my horse (in this scenario you see, I ride a horse to and fro various meetings etc) and to scratch the eyes of people than annoy me.
